When should I book a newborn session?
I book newborn sessions according to due dates and I only take 10 due dates per month; so, I recommend booking your due date as soon as possible. Typically clients will book in their second trimester.
Where is your studio located?
I have a super comfy studio here in my home in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., 08234. It's fully stocked with beautiful hand knit bonnets and wraps; handmade headbands; adorable and safe container props, as well as countless layers, blankets and newborn outfits.
What is the turnaround time for galleries?
All galleries are hand-edited and I only deliver the best from your session, with each session allotted a number of approximate images. You will receive your images in color, with some also in black-and-white.
Galleries will be delivered within 2 business weeks of your session date; business weeks are Monday through Friday and exclude weekends and holidays.
What should I wear and what do you mean by Client Closet?
I highly recommend you wear neutral attire to your session. For newborns, I stick to whites/creams, tans/beiges and earth tones like browns and sage.
In addition to all of the props I have in my studio, I have curated an incredible Client Closet, which basically means I can provide the wardrobe for you and your family. I have a variety of dresses and skirt sets for Mom (including some Reclamation gowns!); I have the cutest outfits for sibings, and I even have some shirts for Dads. My Baby Closet is also filled with the sweetest outfits -- from Hank to Zara and others -- for newborns and older babies.
How long have you been a newborn photographer?
I have been a newborn photographer for more than 12 years. I've photographed hundreds of babies, and I've been trained by two of the best newborn photographers in the industry (Erin Tole & Naomi Hewitt). Safety is my number one priority and your baby will definitely "call the shots" during the session. I never force a pose on a baby, nor do I ever guarantee a pose. Each baby is different and that is what makes each session so beautiful and unique. The focus of your session will be you and your newest bundle of joy.
